2021 Phosphate Processing Plant
Customer: A Kazach company
Feasibility study of phosphate meal production plant with option analyses for a capacity of more than 2 million tons per year. The process flow sheet consists of crushing, separation/enrichment, grinding + related infrastructure facilities.
2021 Sulfuric Acid Neutralizing Department

2020-2021 Fertilizer Pelleting Plant

2020 Department of Furnace mix Preparation for the Smelter
Customer: A Russian company
Examination, Basic engineering of the furnace mix preparation department of the smelting complex including 3D design according to LOD 200. The process flow sheet consists of thickening, dehydration, drying, mixture making (above 16 products), and furnace mix supply to the metallurgical treatment.
2019-2020 System for Additional Inertization of Lignite Grinding Plant.
Customer: AO RUSAL Achinsk Alumina Refinery (JSC)
For more stable operation and anticipating the operation of the emergency inerting systems of the pulverized coal fuel preparation complex, we have designed, installed and launched a line for supplying an additional inerting substance (limestone) to neutralize the residues of ground pulverized coal fuel in the grinding line units during start-ups/shutdowns.
2020 Comparative Study of the Technology Choice for the Production of a Binder from Granulated Blast furnace Slag.
Customer: A Russian company
We have provided comprehensive studies in 2 leading test centers in Western Europe on semi-industrial plants for three main applicable technologies for the production of a binder from granulated blast-furnace slag – grinding in a dry ball mill, HPGR and vertical roller mill. For all options, we have determined the actual unit costs for energy consumption and the consumption of wearing parts, chosen the equipment, built 3D models of enclosures for the equipment (LOD 100), determined CapEx and OpEx, and calculated return on investment.
2018-2020 Detailed Design of the Phosphorite Grinding Plant.
Customer: TOO Eurochem-Karatau (LLP)
The project implemented in terms of design from the stage of
testing at a semi-industrial plant (grinding) to the
implementation of basic engineering, authority
engineering/design permitting and detailed design/workshop
drawings with optimization of process design solutions
relative to the first stage of the complex designed and put
into operation earlier by MinTechProm’s team.
The project includes the supply of raw materials to
processing, a grinding plant, an overpass with a pneumatic
transport system for shipment, shipping units, as well as a
workshop building with utility rooms, operator's and
electrical rooms, a fuel storage, and a container site.
2019 The Project for the Construction of a Lime- burning Plant and Production of Chemically Precipitated Calcium Carbonate (PCC).
Customer: A Russian company
We have provided laboratory tests to choose the technology for burning calcium carbonate, hydrated lime production and to determine the applicability of raw materials for the production of chemically precipitated calcium carbonate (PCC), selected the PCC production technology ,standard and ultrafine products (at the request of the Customer, a modern implemented technology in the existing production), calculated the project cost for all production stages: lime burning and hydration, standard PCC (wet and dry departments ) and ultrafine PCC.
2018 Pulverized Coal Fuel Silo for Lignite Dust.
Customer: AO RUSAL Achinsk Alumina Refinery (JSC)
We have designed and put into operation the additional pulverized coal silo to feed the burners of rotary kilns for alumina sintering. The silo was designed taking into account the existing production conditions and with connection to the existing pulverized coal fuel preparation system and the inerting system.
2018 Mining Part of the Hydrometallurgical Plant.
Customer: A Russian company
We have provided laboratory analyzes of raw materials and analysis of solid fuel for the use of raw materials and pulverized coal fuel in shaft lime kilns, analyzed and estimated design characteristics of the hydrated lime and milk of lime production, determined the cost of project implementation, built a 3D model of the lime kiln and pulverized coal fuel preparation complex including a conceptual site plan.
2017-2019 Mining Island of the Chemical Plant.
Customer: TOO Eurochem-Karatau (LLP)
Comprehensive design from sample analysis to detailed design/workshop drawings. It included testing of various types of raw products (poor, rich, with impurities) with producing pilot batches of products: ground calcium carbonate, lime, hydrated lime, and milk of lime. Developing main process solutions in various versions in terms of productivity and composition and type of equipment (for poor/rich raw materials), developing measures for additional purification of the resulting products from impurities, selecting equipment with a comparison of various technologies of grinding and burning, detailed design/workshop drawings including 3D modeling.
2015 Reconstruction of the Charge Preparation Division with an Increase in Productivity.
Customer: OAO Poltavsky GOK (mining and processing plant, OJSC)
As part of the project to increase ore processing by more than 2 times, we have provided pilot tests on grinding the raw components of the charge (bentonite, limestone, off grade pellets) for the pellet plant, selected the equipment for grinding and mixing, audited the existing production buildings to select optimal layout solutions, developed process flow sheet taking into account the different productivity of the charge preparation division and layout solutions (placement of equipment partially inside the existing buildings and at a separate site), calculated the project payback, and compared the technology efficiency against the existing production.
2015 HMW (hydrometallurgical workshop). Filtration Department. Copper-chlorine Cake Filter Press Installation.
Customer: PAO Chelyabinsk Zinc Plant (OJSC)
We have developed a detailed design/workshop drawings for the installation of filtration equipment for the zinc cake processing line. We have provided calculations and reinforced the workshop floor. Power supply and automation of the technological process with integration into the workshop I&C system.
2014-2015 Barite Grinding.
Customer: TOO Zhairemsky GOK (mining and processing plant, LLP)
As part of the grinding plant workshop equipment replacement, we have audited the production site, tested raw materials, selected energy-efficient equipment for the production of a weighting agent (baryt) – a vertical roller mill with an integrated air separator and a hot gas generator for drying the material during grinding. The installation was successfully commissioned.
2013 Fine Coal and Cake Drying Line.
Customer: PAO KTK (PJSC)
The project included a comparison of various drying technologies in terms of efficiency and safety concept and the choice of technology, development of a process flow sheet and heat and mass balance, determination of the project implementation cost for each of the options, calculation of return on investment. For a drying line with a flash dryer, we have developed layout solutions and provided preliminary engineering.
2013-2015 Phosphate Rock Production Complex.
Customer: TOO Eurochem-Karatau (LLP)
Comprehensive project implementation from analysis of core samples to basic engineering including various options in terms of performance, the choice of equipment among several technologies for grinding phosphorites and detailed design. The complex was successfully put into operation with specific energy efficiency performance significantly better than the calculated ones. Phosphorite ore of the deposit is an extremely abrasive material.
2013 Installation of Press Filters.
Customer: PAO Chelyabinsk Zinc Plant (OJSC)
We have developed the detailed design / workshop drawingsfor the installation of three lines o filtering equipment for spent electrolyte in the zinc electrolysis room. We have provided a pre-design survey, developed repair and restoration measures, technological, construction, and power supply solutions using Diefenbach equipment.
2012 Change-over Alumina Sintering kiln to Lignite Dust
Customer: AO RUSAL Achinsk Alumina Refinery (JSC)
As part of measures to improve the energy efficiency of alumina sinter processing, we have implemented a project to switch 2 sintering kilns from pulverized coal fuel to lignite fuel. We have provided a comprehensive analysis of lignites of the Kansk-Achinsk basin for explosion safety, CFD modeling of the sintering process with the task of preserving the quality characteristics of the sintered material, selected burner equipment for the future scenario, the key technology and the equipment of the complex for the preparation of solid fuel for coals with high volatile content, including an integrated inerting system for the grinding line and pulverized coal fuel transportation by pneumatic transport, provided several basic engineering options with drying and without pre-drying (drying during grinding). The complex was successfully put into operation. The project for lignites with such moisture content and volatile content has been implemented for the first time in the world.
2011-2012 Project for the Construction of a Drying Line for Apatite-Staffelite Concentrate Based On Pulverized Coal Fuel.
Customer: OAO Kovdorsky GOK (mining and processing plant, OJSC)
As part of the project to re-equip and increase the productivity of the existing lines, as well as the subsequent change- over of drying lines to pulverized coal fuel, we have studied drying at pilot plants using various technologies: drum drying, flash dryer, rapid dryer of apatite-shtaffelite and iron ore concentrates. We have implemented three basic engineering projects for various types of drying and with a complex for the pulverized coal fuel preparation for drying and other consumers, provided 3D modeling, and determined the project CapEx and OpEx for various implementation options.
2011-2012 Project for the Construction of a Drying Line for Iron Ore Concentrating Complex Operating On Pulverized Coal Fuel.
Customer: OAO Olkon (OJSC)
As part of the project to re-equip and increase the productivity of the existing lines, as well as the subsequent change-over of drying lines to pulverized coal fuel, we have provided: analysis of coals for pulverized coal fuel production, pilot tests of raw materials with the determination of unit costs, selection of drying technology (flash dryer, drum drying, rapid dryer), selection of the equipment for the iron ore concentrate drying building, developed several layout solutions, calculated the CapEx and OpEx for the drying department construction.

We have provided a detailed technical survey of the one-story crushing and sorting plant building made in a reinforced concrete frame.
2010 Experimental Crushing and Screening Unit.
Customer: OOO Mechel-Materialy (LLC)
We have developed authority engineering/design permitting and detailed design/workshop drawings for the mobile grinding plant of metallurgical slag.
2010 Iron Ore Concentrate Drying Building.
Customer: AO Kovdorsky GOK (mining and processing plant, JSC)
We have provided a detailed examination of the reinforced concrete frame of the iron ore concentrate drying building. A 3D model of the building frame, including communications and underground facilities, has been built. Technical solutions for repair and restoration have been developed.
2008-2010 Grinding and Mixing Complex.
Customer: OOO Mechel-Materialy (LLC)
The project of the 1st in the CIS complex for grinding
granulated blast furnace slag with the production of a
binder, clinker, and finished cement. Pilot studies,
selection of the equipment, participation in the project
management of the construction of a milling and mixing
complex on the part of the Customer, as well as installation
supervision and commissioning on the part of the technology
supplier.
In addition, we have audited the developed Detailed
design/workshop drawings of the grinding and mixing complex
of OOO Mechel-Materialy (LLC) consisting of a clinker
storage bunker, a multi-storey shop for LOESCHE mills, and a
cement storage silo. Recommendations for improving technical
solutions aimed at reducing the cost of construction have
been developed and implemented. Implementation of the
developed solutions allowed to reduce the construction costs
by more than 1,2 Mio Euro.
The complex was successfully put into operation.
